Moon Soaps
These soaps were created as a class project for an herbal course I am taking from Rosemary Gladstar (herbalist, author and teacher), in one part of the study she asked us to use the power of the energy of the moon or sun to create different herbal infusions, decoctions, liniments, etc.... Using the mysterious,unseen energies that are all around us and channeling them for healing good, I feel I have successfully created soaps that have an aura of energy around them that will help the user to consciously shift their frame of mind from one state to another. Rosemary states that the advanced herbal professional has a repertoire of skills to draw on, Rosemary says "Ah, anyone can put herbs in a jar, but not everyone can extract essence". This was a fun and challenging project.
ANTIBACTERIAL (Rosemary & Tea Tree):
This versatile healer contains an infusion of goldenseal root, lavender and rosemary. This soap has anti-septic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory properties with a mild yet stimulating effect to the skin. Helping fight off viruses, bacteria and fungi that cause contagious illness. Can be used for wounds, blemishes, boils, herpes, fever blisters and is a fine deodorant soap. Tea tree essential oil.

REJUVENATION:
This soap was created using new moon energy, with herbs rich in antioxidants, marshmallow, milk thistle, calendula, comfrey, Vitamin E, and beta-carotene. These herbs will nourish the skin while helping the skin fight free radicals, promote new cell growth and therefore help skin remain youthful and healthy. Note: A healthy lifestyle and eating foods rich in antioxidants, (fresh fruits and vegetables) supports the body's immune system and will help to create healthy skin.
