Purchase a bunch of fresh ginger, some organic lemons and local honey and now you are ready.to start making medicine. How easy is that?
Ingredients:
Fresh ginger root
Organic lemons
Local honey
INSTRUCTIONS:
Bring 3 or 4 cups of water to a boil, add a handful of chopped/grated fresh ginger root. Let boil 10 minutes. Remove from burner and place a lid (very important, a lid will hold in the essential oils) on the pot and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain the ginger root from the water and pour into a mug add a 1/2 organic, freshly squeezed lemon and honey to taste. Delicious, healing goodness.
- Hint: make a big batch if you are really feeling sick or need to share with family or roommates. Keep any extra in the refrigerator and heat as needed.
- Use the recipe when you feel like you are just going to get sick and after a cup especially, before you go to bed, you will defeat whatever was trying to get you. It will also ease and help you feel better for the duration of your illness.
