A'INE

To honor A'ine I have created a soap that holds the loving vibrate, happy, abundant energies of summer.

BATHING: while bathing fill a tub with warm flowing water and scatter bright flowers like Calendula, Cosmos, Roses or Zinias (really just use what you have dried or fresh), inviting her summer, fertility and abundance energies into the space.  Light candles arount he bath to represent the sacred bonfires of midsummer, their flickering flames ecoing A'ine's warmth and solar power.  As you soak, imagine her golden light, carrying it across your body and spirit, washing away wories and filing you with vitality, love and joy.

A'ine (pronounced "AWN-ya" or "AWN-ney") is one of the most captivating goddess in Irish mythology, celebrated as a goddess of summer, fertility, and the sun.  She is deeply connected to the warmth and abundance of summer, nurturing the land, livestock and people and is sometimes described as radiating golden sunlight.

She is known as a queen of the fairies, linked to the otherworld and revered as a powerful ruler.  She holds the sacred power of sovereignty.  A'ine is celebrated at Summer Solstice with bonfires, and rituals honoring the peak of the summer sun.

Legend tell of her being a shapeshifter often choosing the shape of a bird such as a swan or sparrowhawk, symbolizing freedom and insight.  She is also associated with sacred wells and water, where offerings were made to ensure prosperity or healing.

She inspires love, passion and emotional warmth, and is symbolized by the crows, representing her otherworldly wisdom and by gold, reflecting abundance and sun energy.

Her stories reveal a goddess both benevolent and fierce, capable of love, jealousy and protection, embodying a powerful and multifaceted presence in the Celtic pantheon.
