MAKER'S NOTE: I have walked with Elen of the Ways for nearly ten years. She has always been a quiet, steady force in my life--guiding me back to my intuition when the path felt unclear.  Her presence has led me down paths I never expected, opened doors I didn't know existed, and taught me to trust the wild, inner Compass of my own spirit.  This Soap was created in gratitude for her gentle guidance and the wisdom she continues to offer.

Elen of the ways is the antlered, green wild goddess of pathways, ley lines and destiny.  She is the guardian of ancient trackways, the protector of travelers, and the spirit who opens the hidden roads of earth.

She walks between worlds in a cloak of deep green, antlers rising like branches, leading deer herds across untouched land.

Elen doesn't push or demand. ----She guides, nudges, and gently turns you towards the path that is truly yours.  She awakens instinct, direction, inner knowing, and the wild courage to follow a calling.

She is the pulse beneath the roots, the compass in the heart, and the quiet whisper that says: "THE WAY"

DID YOU KNOW?

Elen of the Ways origins reach back to Paleolithic reindeer migration myths, where a divine female guided the herds north and south.  This places her as the oldest goddess archetype in Europe. Predating Celts entirely.

She is tied to ley lines.  Ley lines are a series of energy rivers that travel all over the earth.  Many sacred sites have been built on them and these site were taken over by the Christian church.

Her name appears in early Welsh legend as Elen Luyddog, "Elen of the Hosts." a figure who orders the building of the ancient roads in Wales.

She is the only Celtic goddess depicted with antlers.  Unlike the masculine Cernunnos, Elen's antlers represent Sovereignty, Deep Intuition, Animal Guardianship, and Navigating unseen terrain.

She is a sovereignty goddess, she does not command---she empowers.  She helps you claim your path, your direction, and the wild -authority of your own spirit.  Unlike many deities who stand above or in front, Elen is often felt as a side-by-side---a quiet companion, a subtle guide, a steady force.

She is beside me always and I love her dearly!  She is a fairly unknown goddess and I hope you have enjoyed a little intro into her.
